FAQs

  • Can you supply extras (lighting, heating, flooring, furniture, sidewalls)?
    • Yes - we offer a wide selection of optional extras: lighting, heating, side and back sheets, tables, chairs, picnic benches, flooring etc. When you request your quote, let us know what you expect inside and we can include it.

  • Do you include delivery, setup and takedown in the hire cost?
    • Yes - our standard hire includes delivery, professional setup, and dismantling, unless otherwise specified. We’ll agree build and dismantling dates with you in advance. Any special access issues or extra labour may incur surcharges.

  • How far in advance should I book a gazebo?
    • We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for peak months (May–September). Many customers book 3–6 months ahead. For smaller events off-peak, we may still be able to accommodate bookings with shorter notice - but availability of your preferred size or extras cannot always be guaranteed.

  • Is the gazebo weatherproof? What about wind, rain or snow?
    • Our structures are designed to handle typical UK weather (rain, wind). We use quality waterproof fabrics and secure anchorage (stakes and or weights).

      • In windy conditions above certain thresholds, we may need to advise reducing sidewalls or even postponing.
      • In snowy conditions, snow buildup can be hazardous — clearing snow may be required (if safe).
      • Flooring helps with damp ground, and sidewalls maintain interior dryness.

      We’ll discuss weather contingencies with you in advance.

  • What areas do you deliver and install to?
    • We cover West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Brighton & Hove, and surrounding areas. If your location is a bit further, contact us and we’ll check whether delivery is possible (and what the additional cost may be).

  • What ground types can you install on (grass, patio, hard standing, slopes)?
    • We can install on grass, patios, hardstanding, decking, and mild slopes. On grass we use stakes and weights; on hardstanding (e.g. concrete or block paving) we use stackable weights that secure the structure without damaging the surface. For sloping ground, we can adjust frames to keep the floor level — but advanced notice is needed to assess feasibility.

  • What sizes and shapes of gazebos do you offer and how do I choose the right one?
    • We offer a range of sizes (e.g. 2.5 x 2.5m, 3×3m, 4.5×3m, 6×3m, modular configurations, etc.) and styles (frame, clearspan, open-front, sidewalls) to suit your event. To pick the right one, we’ll ask:

      • the number of guests
      • whether you’ll have tables, dance floor, bar, stage, etc.
      • your available space and layout
      • site constraints (trees, access, slopes)

      We can assist you in calculating the right footprint so everything fits comfortably.

  • Do I need to arrange insurance or damage cover?
    • Yes - the structure remains your responsibility while on site. Many clients arrange additional insurance or check whether their event or home insurance covers “hired equipment.” If you cannot arrange this, we may offer a damage waiver or nominal extra cover fee (this depends on your event and location). We carry public liability insurance for our operations, but that doesn’t cover damage by guests to the hired structure.
